About the Authors’

Mr. V. Praveen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Chennai. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and an M.E. in Embedded System Technologies with over six years of diverse industrial and teaching experience. His research interests include Communication Networks, Embedded Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, and the Internet of Things. He has published research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings, and holds patents in the areas of smart sensor networks, Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging, Computer Vision for Intelligent Surveillance, reflecting his active involvement in applied research and intelligent system development. He is keenly involved in emerging technologies and their applications in modern communication systems. He has actively presented his research at several conferences, organized various academic national and international events.

Dr. Nitin Jain is an Assistant Professor at Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur, with over two decades of teaching and research experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2023) and has published extensively on digital signal processing, power electronics, image processing, and wireless communication. His work includes innovative EEG artifact removal techniques, edge detection methods, and optimization approaches. Beyond teaching, he has presented at numerous national and international conferences and actively contributes to academic development. He has successfully guided more than 25 M.Tech scholars in their thesis work and is recognized as a senior faculty member, mentoring both students and colleagues in their academic and research pursuits. With over 40+ research publications in reputed journals and conferences indexed in Scopus, ORCID, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate, Dr. Jain has established a strong academic presence. As an author, he aims to transform his rich academic and research expertise into books that inspire students, researchers, and professionals by simplifying complex engineering concepts into accessible knowledge.

Mr. P. Rajendran is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in various engineering institutions. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2004 from BIST, Chennai. He obtained his Master of Technology in Embedded System Design from SRM University in 2012. His areas of academic and research interest include Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Electronic Circuits, Communication Systems, VLSI Design, and Embedded Systems. He is actively involved in teaching, mentoring students, and guiding projects in the fields of embedded and communication technologies.

Mrs. Awantika Chandel is a seasoned academician with 11 years of teaching experience in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. She holds an M.Tech degree in VLSI & Embedded Systems, showcasing her expertise in cutting-edge electronics domains. With a passion for teaching, she has been instrumental in shaping the curriculum and guiding students in their academic pursuits.

Dr. S. Sumithra is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 27 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from the Anna University, Chennai. Her doctoral research focused on the “Energy Efficient Clustering Algorithms Using Linear Chain Model and Differential Evolution Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks”. Her areas of specialization include Wireless Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems and IoT, Digital Electronics, and Wireless Communication. She has authored more than 35 multiple high-impact research articles in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, authored 4 books, contributed 2 book chapters, and holds 12 granted and published patents. Dr. Sumithra has actively participated in national and international conferences, faculty development programs, and workshops in domains such as AI, Machine Learning, Wireless Communication, and Embedded Systems. She has also completed MOOC certifications through NPTEL and other platforms. At J.J. College of Engineering and Technology, she has held several academic and administrative roles including Head of the Department, NAAC Criteria head, NBA Criteria head, Dean (Research) and AAMC coordinator. She is also a recognized reviewer and editorial board member for reputed journals and serves as an answer key setter and question paper evaluator for various universities.
