About the Author

Mr. Siva Prasad Mattaparthi, M.Tech., (Ph.D.) is an experienced academician, academic administrator, and engineering educator with a sustained record of contribution to teaching–learning processes, academic leadership, and quality assurance in higher technical education. He commenced his teaching career in 2014 and presently brings over 12 years of continuous experience in engineering education, aligned with outcome-based education (OBE) and learner-centric pedagogical practices. He holds an M.Tech degree and is a Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE) and a member of IAENG society of Mechanical engineering, He is currently pursuing his Ph.D., reflecting his ongoing engagement in research, professional development, and scholarly activities, consistent with the expectations of AICTE, NBA, and NAAC quality frameworks. Before transitioning into academia, Mr. Mattaparthi acquired industrial experience in production and manufacturing sectors, which strengthened his understanding of industry requirements, professional competencies, and practical engineering applications. This exposure enables him to effectively integrate theoretical knowledge with experiential learning, thereby supporting the attainment of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Course Outcomes (COs). At present, he is serving at the Behara Group of Institutions as Head of the Department and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Behara College of Engineering and Technology. In this capacity, he actively contributes to academic planning, curriculum design and revision, faculty coordination, mentoring systems, student performance monitoring, and continuous improvement processes, as documented in NBA SAR, AQAR, and NAAC quality indicators. Mr. Siva Prasad Mattaparthi is recognized for promoting academic excellence, ethical professional conduct, and continuous quality enhancement. His educational philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, employability skills, research orientation, and societal relevance, aiming to develop competent engineers who meet national and global professional standards.
