About the Authors’

Mr. P. Naveen Kishore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Matrusri Engineering College, Hyderabad. He completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Kakinada and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the same discipline. With over 16 years of teaching experience, his areas of expertise include manufacturing, additive manufacturing technologies, CAD/CAM, friction stir welding, and AI-based engineering solutions. He has published 12 research papers, holds three patents, and has authored books in his field of specialization. He is a Life Member of several professional organizations and actively contributes to research in natural composites, focusing on the development of innovative composite materials for diverse engineering applications.

Dr. A. Kalyan Charan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Matrusri Engineering College, Hyderabad. He earned his B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad. With 19 years of teaching experience, he received the Best Performing Teacher Award in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2020. He completed the AICTE–QIP program at National Institute of Technology Warangal on “AI- Powered Computer Vision for Smart Agriculture and Healthcare Applications.” His research interests include heat transfer, thermodynamics, combustion, energy optimization, and AI-based engineering solutions. He has published 30 research papers, holds 3 patents, completed 8 funded projects, authored 6 books, and is a Life Member of various organizations.

Dr. M. V. Kishore is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Matrusri Engineering College, Hyderabad. With over twenty years of experience in academia and research, complemented by twelve years of industry exposure, he brings a balanced blend of theoretical expertise and practical insight to the field of mechanical engineering. He earned his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, followed by an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, USA. He completed his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. His academic and research contributions include the publication of more than fifteen technical papers in reputed national and international journals, along with three granted patents. Dr. M. V. Kishore is actively involved in research supervision and is currently guiding two Ph.D. scholars, in addition to having mentored numerous postgraduate and undergraduate student projects. He serves on the editorial boards of two reputed international journals and is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India). He is also a Chartered Engineer (I) and a Life Member of several professional bodies. His research interests include CAD/CAM/CAE and Thixoforming, and he has successfully completed funded consultancy projects sponsored by Advanced Systems Laboratory (DRDO) and The Institution of Engineers (India), contributing significantly to advancements in manufacturing and design engineering.

Dr. Kiran Kumar Algot is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, with over 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University and has been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate engineering education. His areas of expertise include Composite Materials, Nanomaterials, Smart Composites, and Production Engineering, with research interests focused on the development and characterization of advanced composite materials, nanostructured materials, and smart material systems for modern engineering applications. In addition to his research and teaching contributions, he has authored and contributed to several academic books, including titles in Automotive Mechanics and Mechanics of Solids, supporting engineering education. He is committed to integrating innovative research with practical engineering solutions and interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing to the advancement of materials and manufacturing engineering through teaching, publications, and scholarly activities.
