Dr. Pratima Goyal is an accomplished academician with over 36 years of expertise in the department of textile and fashion Technology. Holding a Ph.D. From the University of Mumbai, She has made significant contributions through her research and teaching in areas such as fiber science, fabric design, garment technology, and sustainable textiles. currently Serving as the head of the department of Textile and Fashion Technology at the College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai, Dr. Goyal has guided over 40 postgraduate and Doctoral students and published extensively in national and International journals. Her passion for innovation and Education has earned her multiple research grants and accolades. She is also an active member of several professional and academic committees and has played a pivotal role in curriculum development and academic policy across various universities in India.
Dr. Ritu Madhan is an Associate Professor with more than 24 years of teaching experience in the Department of Textile and Fashion Technology, College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan affiliated to University of Mumbai, India. The areas of expertise are in the subjects related to Fabric Structure and Construction, Finishing of Garments and Textiles, Testing & Evaluation of Textiles, Marketing & Management, Entrepreneurship in Textiles & Apparel, Traditional Indian & Historic World Textiles, Draping and Pattern Drafting & Apparel Making. She uses varied and innovative techniques for introducing curriculum, such as creative expression through case studies, markets, demonstrations, workshops and hands on experience with graduate and post graduate students. Several research students have been guided and presented and published research papers at National and International level in the related fields. She is also a recognized guide for Ph.D under the University of Mumbai and is currently guiding students for their research. She is associated as a member of multiple organizations, such as Textile Association of India, Indian Science Society, Society of Dyers & Colorists and also on Board of Studies of colleges as well as co-opted member of the esteemed HSAI (Home Science Association of India)

Dr. Neha Mulchandani, is an assistant professor at Department of Textile and Fashion Technology in College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan, Churchgate, Mumbai. A postgraduate from Lady Irwin College Delhi University with Textiles and Clothing Honours. She earned her Ph.D. Degree in the field of healthcare textiles and is highly active in research work. She has also received a patent on healthcare apparel. She has participated in national and international conferences and seminars and published many research papers in peer reviewed journals and most recently published a chapter in a book by springer nature on sustainable approaches in textiles and fashion. Her areas of interest are textile processing and finishing, fabric construction, dyeing and printing, traditional textiles and its revival.
With over 23 years of teaching experience, Ms. Vrinda Udiaver is deeply passionate about guiding students toward meaningful learning through association and thorough comprehension. Her expertise lies in the technical aspects of textiles, wet processing, and the fundamentals of clothing. She takes particular delight in sharing her profound appreciation for Traditional Indian Textiles and Costumes with students, inspiring them with both knowledge and cultural richness. Dr. Anjali Srivastava, Assistant Professor, has over 15 years of experience in teaching and research in Textile and Fashion Technology. Sanghmitra Navalgund is a dedicated academician with a master’s degree in Textiles and Clothing, and an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources and Marketing. She possesses over two years of industry experience, complemented by 15 years of teaching in higher education. Vibhuti Khedekar is an Assistant Professor with over a decade of academic and industry engagement in Textile Science, Apparel Design, and Fashion Technology. She holds an M.Sc. in Textile Science and Apparel Design, graduating as the university topper from SNDT Women’s University. Her expertise spans textile testing, fashion designing, wet processing, and entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on sustainable innovations in Khadi fabrics. She has presented and published research at prestigious national and international platforms, earning multiple awards.
